Microsoft podwoił wsparcie dla polskich firm
Z początkiem lipca polskie start-upy będą mogły ubiegać się o 120 tys. dol. rocznego grantu na dostęp do chmury Microsoft Azure. Zmieniono także sposób przyznawania dotacji.
Wsparcie jest udzielane początkującym firmom w ramach inicjatywy BizSpark Plus. Dotąd w Polsce wynosiło 60 tys. dol. W ramach zmian Microsoft wybrał 150 partnerów w 47 krajach (przede wszystkim inkubatory przedsiębiorczości), którzy będą uprawnieni do przyznawania grantów początkującym firmom. Mają im zapewnić wsparcie marketingowe, biznesowe oraz dostęp do oprogramowania i narzędzi programistycznych.
W Polsce na takiego partnera wyznaczono inkubator przedsiębiorczości Starter, stworzony przez miasto Gdańsk. Zaoferuje firmom dostęp do biur, sal konferencyjnych, doradztwo, coaching i szkolenia oraz możliwości rozbudowywania sieci kontaktów biznesowych.
W ub.r. Microsoft zainwestował w polskie start-upy 105 mln zł (wsparcie otrzymało 1925 projektów), a w ciągu 5 lat – 396 mln zł.
