Microsoft otworzy sklep internetowy
Producent zapowiedział otwarcie e-sklepu z grami. Witryna o nazwie Games for Windows Marketplace zostanie uruchomiona 15 listopada.
Na początek w ofercie sklepu znajdzie się 100 tytułów z portfolio Microsoft Game Studios (m.in. The Lost Chapters) oraz takich dostawców jak Rockstar, Capcom Entertainment Inc, 2K Games i Square Enix. Asortyment ma powiększać się o kolejne pozycje (z gier Microsoftu pojawią się m.in. Flight Simulator, Gears of War, a z Capcomu Lost Planet2). Koncern z Redmond zapowiada specjalne oferty cykliczne i sezonowe dla klientów sklepu.
– Cyfrowa dystrybucja w dalszym ciągu jest motorem wzrostu w grach – skomentował zapowiedź otwarcia e-sklepu Christian Svensson, wiceprezes ds. planowania strategicznego i rozwoju biznesowego w Capcomie. Zapewnił, że jego firma dostarczy do Games for Windows Marketplace najciekawsze i najnowsze tytuły.
Sklep będzie dostępny dla użytkowników z identyfikatorem Windows Live. Zostanie uruchomiony w listopadzie pod adresem www.gamesforwindows.com.
