Merlin z własnym kurierem
E-sklep liczy na zwiększenie sprzedaży, usprawniając obsługę klientów. Przybyło darmowych punktów odbioru, uruchomiono pilotaż taniej dostawy.
W sierpniu Merlin.pl uruchomił nowe punkty odbioru osobistego, m.in. w Szczecinie i Wrocławiu, w sklepach partnerskiej sieci Małpka Express. W sumie ma już blisko 160 takich placówek. Zdaniem Waldemara Rybarczyka, dyrektora Pionu Operacyjnego Merlin.pl, część klientów kupujących przez Internet woli odbierać towar samodzielnie, ponieważ to nic nie kosztuje i można płacić na miejscu. Ten trend zdają się potwierdzać dane Merlina – w ciągu 3 miesięcy (od maja do sierpnia) liczba paczek odbieranych w sieci Małpka Express wzrosła ośmiokrotnie. Natomiast w ciągu pół roku wzrost był 16-krotny. Nowe punkty odbioru powstają również we współpracy z siecią Kolporter. Obecnie detalista ma ich 30 na terenie Warszawy, kolejne zostaną uruchomione w Lublinie.
Merlin poinformował, że testuje własną dostawę kurierską pod nazwą Kurier Merlina. Ma ona kosztować 4,99 zł. Obecnie oferta jest dostępna w Warszawie i Poznaniu.
