Media-Saturn trzonem nowej grupy Metro
Koncern Metro AG, do którego należy holding Media-Saturn, planuje podział. „To oznaczałoby dla nas wyraźne korzyści” – przekonuje szef MSH.
Metro AG poinformowało, że planuje podział korporacji na dwa samodzielne przedsiębiorstwa. Jedno obejmie hurtownie Cash & Carry oraz hipermarkety Real. W drugim znajdzie się Media-Saturn jako trzon nowej grupy Metro. Na jej czele stanie szef Media – Saturna, Pieter Haas. Obie nowe spółki mają być notowane na giełdzie.
„Zmiana oznaczałaby wyraźne korzyści dla naszego biznesu” – przekonuje szef MSH – „W przyszłości mielibyśmy większościowego udziałowca, skoncentrowanego na branży elektroniki konsumenckiej, będąc w centrum jego aktywności. Widzimy duży potencjał inwestycji w przyszły rozwój”.
Ostateczna decyzja w sprawie podziału jeszcze nie zapadła. Jeżeli udziałowcy Metro AG zaakceptują ten plan, nowe struktury mogą powstać w 2017 r. Informację o możliwym podziale dobrze przyjęli inwestorzy giełdowi. Kurs Metro AG wzrósł o 6 proc.
