Media Markt uruchomił drugi centralny magazyn w Polsce
CEO zapowiada dalsze inwestycje w magazyny w naszym kraju.
Media Markt w Polsce powalczy o klientów szybszymi wysyłkami towaru.
MediaMarktSaturn uruchomił swoje drugie centrum dystrybucyjne w Polsce. Znajduje się w okolicy Warszawy. Będzie obsługiwało zarówno zamówienia online, jak i zaopatrzenie sklepów stacjonarnych. Pierwszy centralny magazyn MediaMarktSaturn Polska działa już w podwarszawskim Piasecznie.
Dzięki otwarciu kolejnego centrum logistycznego detalista zapowiada skrócenie czasu wysyłki towaru do sklepów i klientów sieci. Dodatkową korzyścią ma być optymalizacja kosztów łańcucha dostaw.
„Uruchomienie kolejnego nowoczesnego centrum dystrybucyjnego jest ważnym elementem realizacji naszej strategii omni-channel. Docelowo, w miarę rozwoju, planujemy kolejne inwestycje w powierzchnie magazynowe” – zapowiada Alpay Güner, CEO MediaMarktSaturn Polska.
W roku finansowym 2019/2020, zakończonym 30 września 2020 r. obroty Ceconomy (do którego należy MediaMarktSaturn) na polskim rynku wyniosły 912 mln euro (4,17 mld zł). Wobec roku 2018/2019 spadek sprzedaży w europejskiej walucie wyniósł 6 proc. r/r, a w złotych ok. 4 proc.
W końcu 2020 r. w kraju działało 88 marketów Media Markt. Z końcem kwietnia br. zapowiedziano zamknięcie jednego obiektu.
