Media Markt bez nowych sklepów w Polsce w 2020 r.
W tym roku Media Markt nie planuje nowych otwarć w kraju. Detalista zakończył natomiast pierwszą dużą modernizację, będą kolejne.
Obiekt w Rybniku to pierwsza duża modernizacja Media Markt w br.
W tym roku nie było nowych otwarć sklepów Media Markt w Polsce i do końca 2020 r. ich nie będzie – poinformowała Wioletta Batóg, PR & Sustainability Manager MediaMarktSaturn Polska.
„W ostatnich miesiącach mocno skoncentrowaliśmy się na sprzedaży online, przez infolinię i szybkich dostawach do klientów” – wyjaśnia rzecznik detalisty.
Media Markt otworzy natomiast 8 października po przebudowie market w Rybniku. To pierwsza zakończona tak duża modernizacja w tym roku. W aktualnym kwartale planowane są jeszcze dwie duże modernizacje. Firma na razie nie ujawnia ich lokalizacji.
Obecnie sklepów sieci Media Markt w Polsce jest blisko 90.
W sierpniu br. ruszyła restrukturyzacja Ceconomy, korporacji do której należy MediaMarktSaturn.
Zakłada ujednolicenie struktur i procesów, redukcję zatrudnienia do 3,5 tys. osób w Europie i zamknięcie kilkunastu nierentownych marketów. Oszczędności mają wynieść dzięki temu blisko 100 mln euro rocznie.
