Marian Noga prezesem Polskiego Towarzystwa Informatycznego
W miniony weekend delegaci X Zjazdu PTI wybrali na prezesa towarzystwa prof. Mariana Nogę z krakowskiej AGH. Zastąpił na tym stanowisku Marka Hołyńskiego.
Nowy prezes (powołany na XI kadencję) został wybrany w pierwszej turze, uzyskując 52 głosy na 83 ważne. Marian Noga jest profesorem w Katedrze Automatyki Napędu i Urządzeń Przemysłowych na Wydziale Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i Elektroniki Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej w Krakowie. Pełni także funkcję zastępcy przewodniczącego Komisji Geoinformatyki w Wydziale IV Przyrodniczym Polskiej Akademii Umiejętności.
Cztery osoby w zarządzie powołano na stanowiska wiceprezesów. Są to: Barbara Królikowska – wiceprezes ds. naukowych, Beata Ostrowska – wiceprezes ds. finansowych, Janusz Dorożyński – wiceprezes ds. strategii, Marek Hołyński – wiceprezes ds. PR.
Przewodniczącym Głównej Komisji Rewizyjnej został Wiesław Paluszyński, a wiceprzewodniczącym Bogusław Machowski. Sądowi koleżeńskiemu będzie przewodniczył Jarosław Deminet. Powołano także radę naukową PTI.
Z inicjatywy Andrzeja Dyżewskiego, szefa agencji badawczej DiS, uchwalono kodeks etyczny zawodu informatyka, zawierający zalecenia dla ludzi z branży.
