Nowy dział: usługi i rozwiązania

W ramach zmian połączone zostaną zespoły i zasoby związane z usługami oraz rozwiązaniami z całej firmy w nowy dział Solutions & Services Group (SSG).

Jak zapowiedziano, SSG będzie stymulować dalszą transformację firmy, rozwijając stopniowo działalność w zakresie inteligentnych rozwiązań branżowych, usług powiązanych, usług zarządzanych oraz oferty rozwiązań typu „jako usługa”, w tym DaaS i TruScale.

  

Trzy grupy biznesowe

Od początku II kw. 2021 r. działalność Lenovo będzie zorganizowana w trzech głównych grupach biznesowych zgodnie z firmową strategią 3S (Smart IoT, Smart Infrastructure i Smart Verticals — inteligentnych rozwiązań IoT, infrastrukturalnych i branżowych).

IDG (Intelligent Devices Group) — skoncentrowana na rozwiązaniach IoT

ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group), dotychczas Data Center Group (DCG) pozostanie skoncentrowana na infrastrukturze

SSG (Solutions & Services Group) — rozwiązania branżowe i usługi

Powołano nowych szefów

Grupą IDG będzie kierować Luca Rossi (obecnie starszy wiceprezes PCSD w EMEA i Ameryce Łacińskiej).

Grupą ISG, tak jak obecnie DCG, będzie nadal zarządzać Kirk Skaugen.

Stery nowo powołanej globalnej grupy Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG) obejmie Ken Wong (obecnie starszy wiceprezes i prezes PCSD w regionie Azji i Pacyfiku).

Nowa organizacja sprzedaży

Ponadto działy sprzedaży Lenovo na całym świecie zostaną podzielone na:

region chiński

międzynarodowy dział sprzedaży

Na ich czele działu międzynarodowego stanie Matt Zielinski (obecnie starszy wiceprezes i prezes PCSD w Ameryce Północnej).

Liderzy obu segmentów sprzedażowych będą bezpośrednimi podwładnymi CEO Yuanqinga Yanga i  zasiadać w komitecie wykonawczym Lenovo (Lenovo Executive Committee, LEC).

Reorganizacja ma sprzyjać większej synergii i efektywności między grupami biznesowymi – informuje Lenovo.

Gianfranco Lanci, prezes korporacyjny i dyrektor operacyjny poinformował o planach przejścia na emeryturę we wrześniu 2021 r. Do tego czasu będzie nadal pełnić swoje funkcje w grupie Lenovo i odpowiadać za operacje biznesowe na świecie wszystkich grup biznesowych oraz działu sprzedaży.
