Lenovo prezentuje Twista i Tablet 2
W ofercie producenta pojawiły się nowe urządzenia ThinkPad, przeznaczone dla firm.
ThinkPad Twist to hybrydowy ultrabook z 12,5-calowym obrotowym ekranem IPS. W urządzeniu zainstalowano niskonapięciowy procesor Intel Core (do i7) trzeciej generacji, dysk HDD 500 GB lub SSD 128 GB, złącza USB 3.0, mini-HDMI, mini-DisplayPort. Maksymalna pojemność RAM-u to 8 GB. Twist może działać na baterii do 7 godzin. Komputer został wyposażony w oprogramowanie Lenovo Solutions for Small Business, dostępna jest także usługa przechowywania plików w chmurze. Waga ultrabooka to ok. 1,5 kg.
Na rynek wszedł również ThinkPad Tablet 2 z procesorem Intel Atom Z2760 oraz 32 lub 64 GB pamięci. Według producenta urządzenie działa przez ponad 10 godz. po jednym naładowaniu, waży około 0,6 kg. W zestawie jest opcjonalne pióro cyfrowe i moduł 3G.
Użytkownicy sprzętu mogą rozszerzyć gwarancję na naprawę w domu lub w firmie i ochronę przed przypadkowymi uszkodzeniami (wskutek upuszczenia, zalania, przepięć). Właściciele Twista mają dostęp do usług Lenovo Services for Small Business. Do wyboru są różne rozszerzenia gwarancji, zabezpieczenie przed przypadkowymi uszkodzeniami, usługa Keep Your Drive (zachowanie dysku twardego w razie problemów). W ramach Lenovo Premium Support zaoferowano dodatkowo pomoc zdalną lub telefoniczną.
