Avaya wprowadziła do oferty przełącznik wielousługowy z serii Cajun. Switch P882 MultiService Backbone ma do 128 portów gigaethernetowych i 768 portów 10/100 Mb/s. Avaya rozpoczęła też sprzedaż oprogramowania do zarządzanie działaniem i ruchem w sieci CajunRules Policy Manager 2.0
Avaya wprowadziła do oferty przełącznik wielousługowy z serii Cajun. Switch P882 MultiService Backbone ma do 128 portów gigaethernetowych i 768 portów 10/100 Mb/s. Jest zoptymalizowany do współpracy z sieciami konwergentnymi poprzez utrzymywanie QoS (Quality of Service), zagęszczenie portów bez spowalniania szybkości transmisji oraz zastosowanie matrycy krzyżowej. Cajun P882 umożliwia przełączanie do 139 Gb/s i routing do 106 Mp/s. Przełącznik jest dostępny w sieci sprzedaży Avayi. Cena Cajun P882 wynosi 24 950 dol. w konfiguracji standardowej i 31 950 dol. w konfiguracji ze zwiększoną odpornością na usterki.
Avaya rozpoczęła też sprzedaż oprogramowania do zarządzanie działaniem i ruchem w sieci CajunRules Policy Manager 2.0. Służy ono między innymi do nadawania priorytetów różnym rodzajom ruchu w sieciach konwergentnych i czysto komputerowych. Oprogramowanie jest członkiem rodziny systemów przełączających Avaya Cajun i rodziny systemów IP Avaya ECLIPS (Enterprise Class IP Solutions). Oprogramowanie kosztuje 9995 dol. i jest udoskonaloną wersją oprogramowania Avaya RealNet Rules.
