Avnet wprowadził do oferty kieszonkowy komputer Motorola ES400. Urządzenie ma 3-calowy ekran dotykowy o rozdzielczości 640x480 pikseli.
ES400 jest najmniejszym urządzeniem Motoroli typu EDA (Enterprise Digital Assistant). Ze standardową baterią waży 156 gram, ma 12,9 cm długości, 6 cm szerokości i 1,6 cm grubości. Komputer wyposażono w procesor ARM11 (600 MHz), 256 MB RAM i 1 GB pamięci flash. Dzięki czytnikowi kart microSD pamięć można poszerzyć o maksymalnie 32 GB. Do pisania tekstów służy klawiatura dostępna w trzech układach: QWERTY, AZERTY i QWERTZ. Komputer pełni również funkcję telefonu 3,5G, umożliwiając rozmowy i połączenia internetowe w standardzie GSM albo CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). Użytkownik uzyskuje zdalny dostęp na firmowej bazy danych, aplikacji biznesowych, systemów zarządzania stanami magazynowymi i zamówieniami. Przy pomocy ES400 można odczytywać kody kreskowe. Urządzenie ma wbudowany aparat fotograficzny.
Cena katalogowa ES400 dla resellerów wynosi 750 USD netto (ok. 2440 zł) z baterią podstawową i 765 USD netto (ok. 2490 zł) z baterią rozszerzoną. Standardowy okres gwarancji trwa 1 rok, użytkownik ma możliwość przedłużenia gwarancji i zwiększenia jej zakresu.
