Kara dla Polkomtela podtrzymana
Odwołanie do sądu nic nie dało.
Sąd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów podtrzymał karę w wysokości 8,7 mln zł, nałożoną na Polkomtel w 2014 r. przez UOKiK. Urząd zakwestionował praktyki dotyczące rozwiązania umów zawartych przez klientów z operatorem sieci Plus. Chodziło o konieczność podania numeru telefonu w wypowiedzeniu (jego ustalenie mogło być problemem dla użytkowników mobilnego Internetu), jak również wymaganie odesłania karty SIM na koszt odchodzącego klienta.
Polkomtel nie zgadza się z postanowieniem SOKiK. Zapowiedział odwołanie do kolejnej instancji.
UOKiK w ostatnich latach kilkukrotnie nakładał na Polkomtel kary. Spółka odwoływała się od nich. W tym roku doszła kolejna decyzja – w styczniu 2017 r. UOKiK nałożył na Polkomtel 30,7 mln zł kary za wprowadzanie w błąd w kampaniach reklamowych.

Portal wprowadza konsumentów w błąd sortując oferty - uważa szef urzędu. To nie jedyny zarzut.
