Kamery Smax na polskim rynku
Spółka zależna Edimax Technology zadebiutowała na polskim rynku z profesjonalnymi kamerami do monitoringu.
W ofercie pojawiły się urządzenia odporne na pył, wodę i uszkodzenia mechaniczne. Wykorzystują formaty kompresji obrazu H.264, MPEG4 oraz MPJPEG. Umożliwiają przesyłanie obrazu w dwóch strumieniach wideo jednocześnie. Mają tryb nocny.
Model AV1 to kopułkowa kamera o rozdzielczości 2 Mpix. Zasięg diod podczerwieni wynosi do 20 m. Obiektyw można ręcznie obracać.
Kamera AU1 ma specjalny uchwyt chroniący okablowanie. Może być zasilana za pomocą przełącznika PoE. Model ten przystosowany jest do montażu na ścianie lub na suficie.
Z kolei GU1 wyposażono w ruchomy obiektyw, możliwość zdalnego sterowania ostrością oraz powiększaniem obrazu. Urządzenie ma funkcję WDR (szeroki zakres dynamiki) i automatyczną regulację ostrości. Kamera jest zgodna z normą IP67 (dwie pozostałe – z IP66).
Sugerowane ceny brutto: AV1 – 1089 zł, AU1 – 1039 zł, GU1 – 2049 zł.

Agito: dwukrotny wzrost sprzedaży kamer
Według danych e-sklepu w 2014 r. sprzedaż kamer wzrosła o 107 proc. w stosunku do 2013 r. W I kw. br. wzrost wyniósł 60 proc. Agito zaprezentowało ranking najczęściej kupowanych modeli.
