Dystrybutor marki Apple wprowadził na rynek nowe iPody nano oraz iPody touch. Modele z rodziny nano producent oferuje w dwóch wersjach o pojemności 8 i 16 GB. Są to miniaturowe odtwarzacze z 2-calowym ekranem o rozdzielczości 320×240 pikseli. Wymiary urządzeń wynoszą 91 x 39 x 6 mm, a waga 37 g. Obraz automatycznie przechodzi w tryb panoramiczny, gdy ustawi się odtwarzacz poziomo. Dzięki funkcji shuffle do zmiany odsłuchiwanego utworu wystarczy potrząsnąć urządzeniem. Nowy iPod touch jest cieńszy i lżejszy od pierwszej wersji. Oferowany jest w pojemnościach 8, 16 i 32 GB. Urządzenie ma 3,5-calowy wyświetlacz dotykowy o rozdzielczości 480×320 pikseli, natomiast wymiary obudowy wynoszą 110 x 62 x 9 mm. Waga odtwarzaczy touch to 115 g. iPod ma wbudowany głośnik oraz sensor Nike, który ma stoper i inne funkcje przydatne podczas treningu.
Sugerowane ceny detaliczne brutto wynoszą: iPod nano 8 GB – 540 zł, iPod nano 16 GB – 700 zł, iPod touch 8 GB – 830 zł, iPod touch 16 GB – 830 zł, iPod touch 32 GB – 1,4 tys. zł. Odtwarzacze mają rok gwarancji.
