Gwarancja jest dostępna dla klientów iSource’a. Przedłużona ochrona trwa 1 rok (czyli tyle, co standardowa gwarancja Apple’a). Jej koszt dla iPada 1 to 249 zł, a dla iPada 2 – 299 zł. Niedostatek komponentów ograniczył przychody Apple'a w minionym kwartale aż o 6 mld dol. Tak źle jeszcze nie było, a w tym kwartale niedobory jeszcze mają się pogłębić.
