InPost dostarczy przesyłki Amazona
Firmy zawarły 5-letnią umowę obejmującą polski rynek.
„To nie będzie Blitzkrieg” – mówi o wejściu Amazona do Polski szef InPostu.
InPost będzie dostarczał klientom przesyłki towarów kupionych na amazon.pl. Dostawy będą realizowane zarówno poprzez sieć paczkomatów, jak i bezpośrednio pod wskazane adresy. Firmy zawarły umowę na 5 lat – poinformował Bloomberga prezes Rafał Brzózka. Szef InPostu uważa jednocześnie, że wejście Amazona do Polski „to nie będzie Blitzkrieg”.
Kontrakt nie obejmuje zagranicznych rynków. InPost, który niedawno wszedł na giełdę w Amsterdamie, planuje ekspansję na zachodzie Europy. Wartość pierwotnej oferty akcji wyniosła 2,8 mld euro. Firma jest wyceniana już na blisko 10 mld euro. W kraju InPost ma ponad 10 tys. paczkomatów.
Bloomberg ocenia wartość polskiego rynku e-commerce na 19 mld dol. (ok. 65 mld zł).
W zeszłym roku krążyła informacja, iż dostawami z Amazona zajmie się Poczta Polska. Amerykański koncern oficjalnie zapowiedział uruchomienie serwisu sprzedażowego w Polsce w końcu stycznia br. Nie podał terminu, kiedy ruszy nowa platforma.
