iNET Group z UKE
W pierwszej połowie listopada przedstawiciele iNET group spotkali się z prezesem UKE.
W pierwszej połowie listopada przedstawiciele iNET group, stowarzyszenia zrzeszającego ponad 40 lokalnych operatorów internetowych, spotkali się z Anną Streżyńską, prezesem Urzędu Komunikacji Elektronicznej. Podczas spotkania członkowie stowarzyszenia zwrócili uwagę na wady prawa w Polsce, brak koordynacji między państwem, a samorządami lokalnymi i władzami wojewódzkimi. Zaproponowali też przeprowadzenie kilku zmian. Na przykład uwolnienie kolejnych częstotliwości tylko dla operatorów telekomunikacyjnych. Operatorzy starali się też przekonać szefową UKE, że oferowanie darmowych usług internetowych nie jest w Polsce możliwe. Prezes wyjaśniła jaki jest zakres działań UKE i jakie są możliwości działania urzędu. Omówiła także wsp&ółpracę urzędu z różnymi ministerstwami, np. infrastruktury, budownictwa i finansów. iNET group zaproponował UKE wsparcie w rozmowach z ministrami. Wiadomo też, że wewnątrz iNET group powstała grupa, która będzie kontaktować się z urzędem. Jak mówią operatorzy zrzeszeni w stowarzyszeniu, najważniejsze jest to, że 47 różnych firm potrafiło ustalić wspólne stanowisko i przedstawić je prezes UKE. ajn
