Huawei polega teraz na rodzimych chipach
Huawei inwestuje w chińskich producentów chipów.

Jak donosi chiński magazyn finansowy „Caijing”, Huawei, chcąc od teraz stosować w swoich urządzeniach chipy z chińskiej produkcji, intensywnie inwestuje w chińskie startupy, które specjalizują się w tej dziedzinie, jak również w dziedzinie samego projektowania chipów, pakowania i testowania. Huawei dokonuje inwestycji za pośrednictwem Habo Technology Investment, podobno finansując dziesiątki chińskich firm. W ciągu trzech lat od założenia spółka inwestycyjna zainwestowała w 38 firm, z których 35 specjalizuje się w produkcji chipów. A w bieżącym roku Huawei podobno chce otworzyć własną fabrykę chipów, aby zbudować własny łańcuch dostaw.
Przypomnijmy, że Huawei otrzymało zakaz handlu od administracji Stanów Zjednoczonych w maju 2019 r. Było to źródłem poważnych problemów. W 2020 r. zakazy związane z wykorzystaniem amerykańskich technologii
doprowadziły do zerwania współpracy z TSMC.
