HP wprowadzi antypirackie etykiety
Producent opracował nowy rodzaj etykiet do tuszy i tonerów, które mają gwarantować autentyczność produktu.
Etykiety zostaną umieszczone na opakowaniach wkładów do drukarek. Oprócz hologramu mają kod QR (Quick Response), który można przeskanować za pomocą czytnika oraz iPhone’a z aplikacją HP do weryfikacji.
Oryginalne etykiety generują komunikat, który potwierdza, że wkład ma prawidłowy kod. Fałszywki powodują pojawienie się w aparacie komunikatu ostrzegawczego z łączem do witryny HP poświęconej przeciwdziałaniu podróbkom.
Klienci, którzy nie mają możliwości skanowania kodów QR, mogą sprawdzić autentyczność etykiety wprowadzając w witrynie HP Mobile Authentication alfanumeryczny szyfr umieszczony obok kodu QR. Adres tej strony znajduje się na nowej etykiecie.
W Polsce kody QR powinny pojawić się w 2012 roku wraz z zakończeniem sprzedaży tonerów HP w dotychczasowych opakowaniach.
