HP: tablet z Windowsem
HP nie wycofa się z produkcji tabletów. Na rynek wejdzie Slate 2 – urządzenie dla biznesu z systemem Windows 7.
Slate 2 ma 8,9-calowy ekran, procesor Intel Atom Z670 oraz napęd mSATA SSM (flash o pojemności do 64 GB), który według producenta przyspiesza uruchamianie urządzenia i wydłuża czas pracy akumulatora do 6 godzin. W tablecie zamontowano port HDMI, dwa USB 2.0, czytnik kart pamięci SD. Z tyłu znajduje się aparat cyfrowy o rozdzielczości 3 megapikseli. Opcjonalnie będzie dostępna wersja z modemem 3G (w standardzie jest moduł Wi-Fi 801.11b/g/n). Tablet waży 0,68 kg.
Sprzęt wyposażono w układ TPM. Moduł Security for HP ProtectTools umożliwia sterowanie i zarządzanie TPM, certyfikatami cyfrowymi, chroni wiadomości e-mail. Użytkownik może uruchomić usługę Computrace Pro i zdalnie usunąć dane w razie kradzieży urządzenia. Do zarządzania połączeniami służy jeden interfejs użytkownika.
Slate 2 będzie dostępny w sprzedaży w Polsce od grudnia br. Przewidywana przez producenta cena detaliczna to 2399 zł netto.
