HP poinformowało o rozszerzeniu oferty serwerów HP ProLiant. Siedem nowych platform HP ProLiant G6 zostało wyposażonych w najnowsze sześciordzeniowe procesory AMD Operon. Oferta obejmuje serwery stelażowe DL785, DL585, DL385 i DL165 oraz serwery typu blade BL465c, BL495c i BL685c.
Producent wprowadził także zupełnie nową serię serwerów – HP ProLiant DL1000, która charakteryzuje się dwukrotnie większą gęstością upakowania, w porównaniu z tradycyjnymi serwerami stelażowymi.
Kolejną nowością jest HP ProLiant ML330 G6 – modułowy serwer w obudowie wieżowej wykorzystujący do pracy procesory Intel Xeon 5500 i pamięć DDR3.
Nowe serwery HP ProLiant G6 wyposażone w procesory firmy AMD są już w sprzedaży Ich ceny wynoszą wynoszą od 1679 dol. do 17029 dol., i różnią się w zależności od konfiguracji.
Modele HP ProLiant DL4x170h oraz HP ProLiant DL2x170h G6 również można już kupić. Ceny urządzeń podstawowych wynoszą odpowiednio 4909 dol. i 2819 dol.
Serwer HP ProLiant ML330 G6 w najtańszej wersji kosztuje 1199 dol.
