Vendor chce wzmocnić się na rynku Big Data i IoT.
Hitachi Vantara oznajmił wczoraj, że planuje przejąć Rean Cloud, globalnego integratora systemów Amazon Web Services i MSP z doświadczeniem w tworzeniu aplikacji natywnych
w chmurze. Rean Cloud jest czołowym partnerem konsultingowym w sieci partnerów AWS, a także partnerem usług zarządzanych przez AWS. Ma doświadczenie we współpracy z przedsiębiorstwami z branży finansowej, opieki zdrowotnej, naukowej, edukacyjnej i sektorem publicznym. Umowa ma zostać zamknięta w ciągu najbliższych dwóch lub trzech miesięcy.
Jak podkreśla Bobby Soni, główny specjalista ds. rozwiązań i usług w Hitachi, Rean Cloud to firma zajmująca się migracją i zarządzaniem chmurami na dużą skalę. Fachowa wiedza z tego zakresu i doświadczenie przejmowanego przedsiębiorstwa są szczególnie ważne dla Hitachi Vantara. Równie istotne jest doświadczenie Rean Cloud w analizie dużych zbiorów danych (w 2017 roku Rean wcieliło w swoje struktury firmę 47Lining, która przyniosła jej wiedzę w zakresie Big Data, dzięki uczeniu maszynowemu i sztucznej inteligencji).
