Hakerzy zaatakowali systemy VoIP
Zagrożonych jest nawet 1,2 tys. przedsiębiorstw.
W Polsce z VoIP korzysta ponad 2,5 mln użytkowników – według UKE.
Hakerzy z Bliskiego Wschodu zaatakowali systemy VoIP – twierdzi Check Point Research. Ofiarami są systemy telefoniczne Sangoma oraz Asterisk VoIP, wykorzystywane przez 1,2 firm i podmiotów publicznych w 60 krajach. Zdaniem Check Pointa oszustwa w głównej mierze dotyczyły Wielkiej Brytanii, Holandii, Belgii i USA. Ataki odnotowano też m.in. w Czechach.
Jak na razie nie potwierdzono ataku na system VoIP wykorzystywany w polskich firmach. Z tych usług korzysta w naszym kraju ponad 2,5 mln użytkowników – według z raportu UKE. Łączne przychody z usług VoIP wyniosły w 2019 r. blisko 300 mln zł.
Według CFCA (Stowarzyszenie Kontroli Oszustw Komunikacyjnych) hakowanie VoIP PBX jest jedną z 5 najczęstszych metod oszust telekomunikacyjnych. Łączne globalne straty sięgają 28 mld dol.
Hakerzy zarabiają na dostępie do opanowanych systemów, sprzedając połączenia, lub zmuszają system do dzwonienia pod numery premium pobierające opłaty.
