Google najlepszym miejscem pracy
W dorocznym zestawieniu magazynu Fortune właściciel internetowej wyszukiwarki został uznany za najlepsze miejsce pracy. Wśród 100 firm w rankingu niewiele jest przedsiębiorstw z branży.
Google uznano numerem 1 spośród 100 pracodawców na liście Fortune po raz czwarty. Koncern doceniono zwłaszcza za możliwości wypoczynku i uprawiania sportu, jakie zapewnia pracownikom.
Spośród firm z branży IT kolejny był NetApp (numer 6) – tak wysoko, bo – jak uzasadnia Fortune – osiągnięcia pracowników są w tym przedsiębiorstwie szczególnie doceniane. Ponoć wiceprezes prosi menedżerów, aby powiadamiali go o tym, co podwładni zrobili dobrego i osobiście dziękuje wskazanym osobom.
Na 11. miejscu uplasował się producent procesorów – Qualcomm, 42. było Cisco, a 63. – Hitachi Data Systems. Na 75. pozycji sklasyfikowano Microsoft. Fortune nie wyjaśnia, dlaczego tak nisko. Zachwala natomiast korporacyjny ośrodek zdrowia.
