GoodRAM: SSD z Micronem
Polska firma wprowadziła do oferty dysk SSD z serii C - C40, który jest dostępny w czterech pojemnościach.
Podobnie jak pozostałe dyski z serii C, model C40 został wyposażony w interfejs SATA III i kontroler Phison. W odróżnieniu od poprzednich nośników, w których zastosowano pamięci Toshiby, w C40 wykorzystano produkty Microna wykonane w 20-nanometrowym procesie technologicznym. W zależności od pojemności dyski mają do 512 MB RAM-u. Zastosowano w nich różne kontrolery – PS3109 w wersji 60 GB i 120 GB (mają wbudowane zabezpieczenie przed niskim napięciem) oraz PS3108 w nośnikach o pojemności 240 GB i 480 GB.
Wszystkie dyski GoodRAM oparte na kontrolerach Phison mają funkcję SmartCacheFlush, która poprawia zarządzanie pamięcią buforującą oraz GuranteedFlush, zapobiegającą utracie danych w razie nieoczekiwanej przerwy w zasilaniu,
Według producenta dyski cechuje prędkość odczytu na poziomie 550 MB/s, a zapisu – 530 MB/s w przypadku plików kompresowalnych oraz odczyt maksymalnie (dla dysku 480 GB) 528 MB/s i zapis 493 MB/s w razie transferu plików niekompresowalnych.
Sugerowane ceny detaliczne: dysk C40 o pojemności 60 GB – 159 zł, 120 GB – 229 zł, 240 GB – 399 zł, 480 GB – 899 zł. Gwarancja: 3 lata.
