Foxconn: wkracza Blood Rage

Styczniową nowością Foxconna będzie płyta główna ATX Blood Rage. Do jej budowy wykorzystano chipset Intel X58. Płyta współpracuje z najnowszymi procesorami Intel Core i7, i7 Extreme oraz z 3-kanałowymi pamięciami DDR3 o pojemności maks. 12 GB i częstotliowści do 1800 MHz. Płyta działa zarówno w technice ATI CrossFireX jak i NVIDIA SLI. Wyposażono ją w 14-fazowy, hybrydowy system zasilania Quantum Power Dźwięk generowany jest przez kartę SONAR X-Fi. Blood Rage wyposażono w interfejs SAS, dwa złącza eSATA i sześć SATA. Wewnętrzny sterownik Intel Matrix Storage pozwala na utworzenie macierzy dyskowej RAID w trybach 0 lub 1. Łączność zewnętrzną zapewniają także dwa wyjścia 1394a FireWire i 12 portów USB2.0. Do łączności z siecią służą dwie gigabitowe karty sieciowe. Na laminacie karty znajdują się przyciski Force Reset, Power/Reset, Twin BIOS.
Cena płyty głównej Foxconn Blood Rage zostanie ujawniona w drugiej połowie stycznia 2009. Urządzenie jest objęte 3-letnią gwarancją producenta.
