QNAP Systems rozszerzył ofertę serwerów NAS o nowy model rackowy – TS-439U. Występuje w wersji z pojedynczym (TS-439U-SP) i redundantnym zasilaczem (TS-439U-RP). Obie wersje adresowane są do odbiorców korporacyjnych. Mają obudowy rack 1U, w których można zamontować cztery dyski twarde SATA II. Kieszenie mają funkcję hot-swap, a ich całkowita pojemność sięga 8 TB. Można w nich zamontować zarówno dyski 2,5-calowe jak i 3,5-calowe.
Pracą TS-439U zarządza procesor Intel ATOM 1.6GHz. Urządzenia posiadają 1GB DDRII pamięci RAM. W obu wersjach można skonfigurować następujące poziomy RAID: 0/1/5/6/5+ zapasowy i JBOD oraz funkcję rozszerzenia pojemności RAID online. Zarówno w TS-439U-RP jak i w TS-439U-SP można skonfigurować usługę iSCSI Target. Serwery mają dwa porty sieciowe 1 Gbit/s.
W QNAP TS-439U-RP i TS-439U-SP jest standardowo zainstalowany nowy interfejs zarządzający – V3.
Serwery będą na rynku jeszcze w sierpniu. Każdy zestaw zawiera komplet szyn do montażu w szafie rack. Cena modelu TS-439U-SP w ofercie EPA Systemy wyniesie 4290 zł netto, a wersji TS-439U-RP – 5090 zł netto.
