EPA Systemy wyłącznym dystrybutorem QSAN
Spółka wprowadziła do sprzedaży macierze dyskowe tajwańskiej firmy QSAN Technology. Urządzenia umożliwiają transfer danych z prędkością do 2 GB/s.
QSAN koncentruje się na budowie systemów pamięci masowej SAN. Urządzenia wykorzystują protokoły iSCSI i Fiber Channel. Mają certyfikaty zgodności z systemami do wirtualizacji, jak VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V oraz Citrix Xen.
Macierze QSAN wyposażono w procesory Intela i sprzętowe kontrolery RAID oraz rozwiązania zapewniające pełną redundancję podzespołów. Kontrolery mają systemy podtrzymania bateryjnego (do 72 godzin), wszystkie podzespoły mogą być wymieniane bez restartu czy wyłączania serwera. Najwydajniejsza macierz umożliwia odczyt i zapis na poziomie 2 GB/s oraz wydajność 390 tys. IOPS.
Dostępne na polskim rynku serwery QSAN są przystosowane do instalacji od 12 do 24 dysków SATA lub SAS z opcją rozbudowy systemu do 192 napędów. Umożliwiają tworzenie dysków logicznych podłączonych do serwerów za pomocą interfejsu Fiber Channel lub poprzez sieć Ethernet 10 Gb/s i 1 Gb/s z wykorzystaniem protokołu iSCSI.
Ceny serwerów QSAN zaczynają się od 16,3 tys. zł netto.
