EPA Systemy: backup w chmurze
EPA Systemy udostępnia platformę do archiwizacji i backupu w chmurze – CTERA Portal. Mogą ją oferować także partnerzy dystrybutora.
Rozwiązanie izraelskiej firmy CTERA Networks jest przeznaczone dla dostawców usług internetowych (ISP). Skalowalna, bazująca na usłudze chmury platforma, umożliwia wykonywanie kopii zapasowych na serwer centralny. Wersja DataCenter Edition jest dostosowana do infrastruktury ISP. Pozwala na poszerzenie zakresu usług o backup danych w chmurze, który może być oferowany pod własną marką firmy.
Producent za darmo instaluje CTERA Portal w centrum danych dostawcy usług internetowych, który potem płaci miesięczny abonament, uzależniony od liczby podłączonych serwerów klienckich (a nie ilości przechowywanych danych). Stawki dla użytkowników może samodzielnie ustalać ISP. Na początek musi wnieść przedpłatę, np. 10 tys. zł. Z tej puli co miesiąc odejmowana jest ustalona stawka. Po wyczerpaniu wpłaconej kwoty pobierana jest następna itd. Szczegóły finansowe ustalane są indywidualnie. W Polsce odpowiada za to EPA Systemy. Dystrybutor zapewnił, że dostęp do CTERA Portal mogą oferować operatorom ISP także partnerzy firmy.
