W ofercie EPA Systemy pojawił się nowy serwer QNAP TS-210 przeznaczony dla biur i użytku domowego.
W ofercie EPA Systemy pojawił się nowy serwer QNAP TS-210 przeznaczony dla biur i użytku domowego. Urządzenie współpracuje z dwoma dyskami SATA 3,5 o pojemności do 2 TB każdy. Zainstalowano w nim procesor Marvell 800 MHz oraz 256 MB pamięci DDRII. Użytkownicy mogą w TS-210 stworzyć tryb RAID 1. Dysk sieciowy TS-210 ma także funkcję Target iSCSI, został też wyposażony w port Gigabit, (wcześniej występujący jedynie w profesjonalnych rozwiązaniach producenta), trzy złącza USB, serwer mediów Twonky Media.
Dostęp do multimediów zmagazynowanych na dysku sieciowym QNAP TS-210 można uzyskać za pośrednictwem iPhone’a lub odtwarzacza iPod Totuch, po zainstalowaniu na tych urządzeniach aplikacji DLNA/ UPnP. QNAP TS-210 może być wykorzystywany także jako magazyn przechowujący kopię zapasową danych z komputerów podłączonych do sieci LAN. Oprogramowanie do tworzenia kopii jest w zestawie z serwerem.
