Dwa razy więcej ataków phishingowych
RSA poinformowało, że jego usługa FraudAction, chroniąca m.in. przed phishingiem i pharmingiem, zneutralizowała półmilionowy atak online. Na całym świecie liczba zagrożeń wzrosła w ciągu roku dwukrotnie.
Zdaniem Ewy Turewicz, Product Manager RSA w RRC, w naszym kraju phishing jest stosunkowo rzadko używanym przez cyberprzestępców narzędziem. Raz na jakiś czas zdarzają się jednak spektakularne akcje, takie kradzież ok. 1 mln zł z jednego z polskich e-banków w 2005 roku, bądź ataki na użytkowników Neostrady na początku tego roku.
Według danych Anti-Phishing Working Group, w I połowie 2011 roku przeprowadzono na całym świecie 115 472 ataków phishingowych, tj. dwa razy więcej niż w I poł. 2010 roku. Średni czas jednej akcji cyberprzestępców spadł o 22 proc., z 13 godzin 42 minut do 10 godzin i 44 minut.
