Durabook: mocny tablet z Windowsem
W grudniu do sprzedaży w Polsce trafił Durabook R11. To pierwszy tablet tej marki o kompaktowych wymiarach i niewielkiej wadze. Urządzenie ma 11,6-calowy ekran HD.
R11 wyposażono w system Windows 8.1 Professional lub Windows 7, procesor Intel Core i5-4200U, 4 GB RAM-u (rozszerzalne do 8 GB) oraz dysk SSD o pojemności 64 GB. Tablet jest odporny na upadki z wysokości do 1,2 m, obudowę cechuje szczelność na poziomie IP65 (całkowita ochrona przed pyłem oraz przed zalaniem strumieniem wody z dowolnego kierunku). Sprzętu można używać w temperaturze od -10 st. C do 55 st. C.
Użytkownik ma możliwość wymiany podzespołów (dysku, pamięci, baterii, dodania modemu LTE). Pojemność fabrycznie montowanego akumulatora wynosi 4130 mAh, co wystarcza na 7 godz. pracy bez podłączania do sieci. W tablecie są dwa pełnowymiarowe porty USB, slot kart mikro-SD, wyjście słuchawkowe, slot na kartę SIM. Moduły łączności to m.in. Wi-Fi w standardzie AC i Bluetooth 4.0. Opcjonalnie można dodać m.in. skaner kodów kreskowych, RFID, NFC. Urządzenie waży 1,2 kg.
