W tym roku sprzedaż desktopów może być większa niż w roku ubiegłym, ale na poprawie koniunktury niewiele skorzystają urządzenia All-in-One – przewiduje Digitimes Research.
Zdaniem firmy badawczej ożywienie na rynku desktopów jest związane przede wszystkim z większymi zakupami w firmach, a te preferują tradycyjne komputery stacjonarne. Tymczasem AIO to produkty kierowane głównie na rynek konsumencki, na którym popyt wciąż jest słabszy niż w przedsiębiorstwach. Z tego powodu Digitimes Research prognozuje mniejszą sprzedaż urządzeń „wszystko w jednym” – o 2,4 proc. w całym 2014 r. w porównaniu z 2013 r.
Według Digitimes najwięcej modeli AIO sprzedają Apple i Lenovo. Ich łączny udział w światowym rynku powinien przekroczyć 60 proc. w 2014 r. Zainteresowanie sprzętem pozostałych producentów kurczy się, aczkolwiek dane firm ODM i OEM są rozbieżne. Otóż najwięksi azjatyccy wytwórcy spodziewają się, że dostarczą vendorom więcej komputerów AIO niż w zeszłym roku, głównie dzięki zamówieniom Lenovo i HP.
