Lepszy rok notebooków dla graczy
W 2017 r. światowy rynek wchłonie o 1 mln urządzeń więcej niż w 2016 r. - według prognozy.
Dostawy notebooków gamingowych na globalny rynek wyniosą 5,5 mln szt. w 2017 r. – prognozuje Digitimes Research. Nawet za 45 proc. sprzedaży będą odpowiadać dwie marki: Asus (1,3 mln szt.) oraz MSI (1,1-1,2 mln szt.).
W 2016 r. producenci dostarczyli na rynek 4,5 mln notebooków dla graczy, w tym Asus 1,2 mln szt., a MSI 800 – 850 tys. szt. W 2015 r. klienci kupili niecałe 4 mln urządzeń, czyli sprzedaż w ostatnich latach idzie w górę.
Jak zauważa Digitimes, Asus i MSI są także liderami rynku tam, gdzie cena laptopa jest wyższa, m.in. w Europie. W Chinach numerem 1 na rynku laptopów gamingowych jest Lenovo.
Asus i MSI prosperują także dzięki popytowi na karty graficzne, które oprócz pasjonatów gamingu kupują także użytkownicy "wykopujący" kryptowaluty. MSI w całym 2017 r. wprowadzi na rynek ponad 5 mln kart graficznych – według prognozy.
