Zakupy sprzętu będą rosły w kolejnych latach.
Głównie operatorzy chmurowi i telekomy będą zamawiać serwery w kolejnych latach – według prognozy.
Dostawy serwerów będą rosły do 2025 r. średnio o 6,7 proc. co roku – przewiduje Digitimes Research. Powodem ekspansji jest zapotrzebowanie infrastrukturę centrów danych, HPC, aplikacje korzystające ze sztucznej inteligencji oraz 5G – według przewidywań.
Za zakupami sprzętu stać będą głównie najwięksi operatorzy chmury publicznej, w związku zapotrzebowaniem na ich usługi z powodu pracy zdalnej i e-commerce. Ponadto w kolejnych latach serwery będą zamawiać operatorzy telekomunikacyjni do centrów danych obsługujących 5G.
Do inwestycji powinien skłaniać użytkowników rozwój platform serwerowych, gdzie np. Nvidia zamierza powalczyć większy udział w kolejnych latach.
W ocenie Gartnera w tym roku inwestycje w infrastrukturę centrów danych spadną o ponad 10 proc. ze względu na ograniczenie inwestycji przez przedsiębiorstwa, natomiast w przyszłym roku można spodziewać się odbicia o 6 proc.
