Dell EMC pozbył się już ponad 100 dystrybutorów
Dell EMC rozwiązało umowę z ponad setką dystrybutorów z globalnej linii. Johnem Byrne, szef globalnego kanału Dell EMC, przyznaje, że to nie koniec redukcji.
Dell EMC zrezygnował ze współpracami ze 105 dystrybutorami. Obecnie jest ich 270, zaś w październiku było ich 375. Producent zamierza utrzymać relacje z trzema globalnymi dystrybutorami: Ingram, Tech Data i Arrow. Dell EMC chce przyjąć model "dwa plus jeden", co oznacza, że każdy kraj będzie obsługiwany przed dwóch globalnych graczy oraz jednego regionalnego.
– W niektórych krajach sytuacja może się trochę różnić, np. będą relacje "trzy + jeden" bądź "trzy + dwa". Chcemy zracjonalizować proces dystrybucji i dążymy do tego, żeby firmy sprzedawały jak najwiecej rozwiązań z naszego portfolio, zabierając udziały HP, Lenovo czy Cisco – tłumaczył John Byrne na łamach Channeleconomics.
