Dell EMC: będą cięcia w dystrybucji
"Mamy za dużo dystrybutorów" - uważa szef kanału partnerskiego firmy.
"Po połączeniu Della i EMC mamy na świecie ponad 300 dystrybutorów. To zbyt wielu" – ocenia szef globalnego kanału partnerskiego firmy, John Byrne. To się zmieni. Do grudnia br. Dell EMC ma wybrać kilku dystrybutorów, którzy będą kontynuować współpracę z firmą – poinformował Byrne na konferencji Dell EMC Partner Summit w Austin (USA).
"Chcemy współpracować z partnerami i dystrybutorami, którzy chcą sprzedawać wszystko z naszego portfolio i tworzyć rozwiązania. Chcemy takich, którzy gotowi są razem z nami powalczyć o rynek. Będziemy naciskać na dystrybutorów i zachęcać ich, by agresywnie oferowali usługi" – zapowiedział szef kanału partnerskiego Dell EMC.
Podkreślił przy tym, że dystrybucja odgrywa kluczową rolę dla firmy w dotarciu do rynku. Według niego sprzedaż w kanale dystrybucyjnym poszła w górę o 30 proc. w minionym kwartale.
