DataCore: VDS do wirtualnych desktopów
Dostawca oprogramowania do wirtualizacji pamięci masowych zaprezentował nową platformę serwera wirtualnych desktopów – DataCore VDS. Produkt jest przeznaczony dla małych i średnich firm.
DataCore VDS (Virtual Desktop Server) umożliwia tworzenie środowiska wirtualnych desktopów i ich udostępnianie. Jest to rodzaj aplikacji VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), która wykorzystuje hypervisor pamięci masowych DataCore. Dzięki rozwiązaniu firmy mogą wdrożyć i udostępnić od 50 do 200 wirtualnych desktopów. Dostawca zapewnia, że DataCore VDS eliminuje do 75 proc. kosztów infrastruktury VDI.
DataCore VDS będzie dostępny od II kwartału br. w sieci partnerów DataCore w Europie. Ceny licencji dla 50 wirtualnych desktopów zaczynają się od 4,6 tys. euro.
