Producent wprowadził na rynek przełączniki działające w technice D-Link Green. W 5-portowym modelu DGS-1000D zaimplementowano dwie techniki. Pierwsza analizuje długość przewodów, którymi urządzenie połączone jest z komputerami. Następnie dostosowuje podaż mocy dla danego portu tak, by była ona wystarczająca dla określonej długości kabla (nie większa niż to konieczne do transferu danych). Działanie drugiej polega na wykrywaniu, czy podpięty do przełącznika sprzęt jest włączony. Jeśli nie – dany port automatycznie przechodzi w stan spoczynku. Seria nowych przełączników DGS-1000D przeznaczona jest do użytku w biurze lub w domu. Przełącznik gigabitowy DGS-1005D jest oferowany w sugerowanej cenie detalicznej netto 145 zł. Gwarancja – 2 lata.
Niebawem dostępne będą również przełączniki DGS-1008D, DGS-1016D oraz DGS-1024D, wyposażone odpowiednio w 8, 16 i 24 porty.
