CES 2021 tylko wirtualnie
Zapadła decyzja. CES 2021 odbędzie się wyłącznie online.
W tym roku w targach uczestniczyło 170 tys. osób (na zdj. CEO CTA Gary Shapiro podczas wydarzenia w ub.r.).
Największe targi technologiczne – doroczne CES w Las Vagas – zostaną zorganizowane tylko online w 2021 r. Powodem jest pandemia koronawirusa. O decyzji poinformował organizator imprezy, Consumer Technology Association. CES jest największym w roku wydarzeniem w Las Vegas, odbywającym się tradycyjnie na początku stycznia. Przyszłoroczną imprezę zaplanowano na 6-9 stycznia.
Uczestnictwo w targach wirtualnych będzie płatne. Cena nie została jeszcze ustalona. Wejściówki na tradycyjne wydarzenie kosztowały w tym roku od 300 dol. w górę. Podczas targów online przewidziano wystąpienia i konferencje, prezentacje produktów, a także możliwość wirtualnych spotkań biznesowych.
W minionym miesiącu CTA zapowiadało, że impreza w 2021 r. odbędzie się w tradycyjnej formie, z zachowaniem środków ostrożności i ograniczeń związanych z pandemią. Jednak rosnące obawy z powodu Covid-19 sprawiły, że CES w dotychczasowej formie nie może się odbyć – wyjaśnia organizator.

Giganci jeden po drugim wycofują się z udziału w największych targach elektroniki. Powodem jest nowa fala pandemii.
Samsung ogłosił harmonogram Internetu Rzeczy
Do 2017 r. wszystkie telewizory Samsunga będą urządzeniami Internetu Rzeczy, a w ciągu 5 lat cały sprzęt komputerowy firmy będzie gotowy do działania w ramach koncepcji IoT - zapowiedział na CES BK Soon, prezes i dyrektor generalny Samsung Electronics.
Intel na CES o przyszłości rozwiązań wearable
Intel dużo środków i energii zainwestuje w urządzenia noszone (wearables) – wynika z prezentacji szefa firmy na targach CES. Koncern szykuje nowe rozwiązania dla tej grupy produktów, jak latająca kamera i miniaturowe czipy.
