W II poł. br. problemy z podażą pamięci serwerowych powinny być mniejsze.

Ceny kontraktowe DRAM do serwerów wzrosły w I poł. br. o 10 proc., jednak zwiększenie dostaw przystopuje wzrost cen – według DRAMeXchange. W III kw. br. moduły 32-gigabajtowe głównych marek powinny podrożeć o 1-2 proc., do 320 dol. Podaż i popyt są obecnie bliższe stanu równowagi niż w poprzednich kwartałach. W I poł. wskaźnik ten wyniósł średnio 80 proc. W okresie największych niedoborów, w II i III kw. 2017 r., spadł w okolice 50 proc. Jeśli chodzi o o technologię, w br. będą dominować pamięci produkowane w 20-nanometrowym procesie. Zapotrzebowanie na moduły serwerowe o wysokiej gęstości będzie kontynuowane do końca roku.

Na początku roku rosły również ceny DRAM do komputerów – o 3 proc. w I kw. br. w porównaniu z IV kw. ub.r.
