Wielu producentów zamierza wypuścić na rynek tablety z Windows 8 w drugiej połowie br. – informuje Digitimes. Spodziewany jest wzrost sprzedaży takich urządzeń.
Według Digitimes, który powołuje się na tajwańskie fabryki sprzętu, udział tabletów z Windows 8 w światowym rynku w 2013 r. powinien wzrosnąć do 5-8 proc., co odpowiada 10 – 20 mln urządzeń. Producenci przygotowują już nowe modele na II połowę roku. Mają pojawić się w ofercie w szczycie sezonu sprzedażowego w III kw. Microsoft może więc zbliżyć się do Apple’a na tym rynku – przewidywane dostawy iPadów w tym roku to 80 – 100 mln szt.
Zdaniem firm ODM proporcje sprzedaży tabletów (wszystkich OS) w I i II poł. br. wyniosą 4:6.
