Asus: Taichi – ultrabook, jakiego jeszcze nie było
Taichi, czyli ultrabook z dwustronnym ekranem, wyposażono w procesor Intel Core i7. Obudowa ma 3 mm grubości.
Komputer w rozmiarze 11,6 cala ma dwa wyświetlacze – jeden, dotykowy Full HD, umieszczono na pokrywie. Umożliwia posługiwanie się urządzeniem tak jak tabletem. Po wewnętrznej stronie pokrywy jest drugi ekran, bez opcji dotykowej. Oba panele mogą działać samodzielnie lub wyświetlać to samo. Ultrabooka wyposażono w procesor Intel Core i7-3517U, 4 GB RAM-u oraz dysk SSD o pojemności 256 GB. Karta WiFi Dual-band z Intel WiDi, a także Bluetooth 4.0 umożliwiają łączność bezprzewodową. Wśród portów są m.in. dwa USB 3.0, mikro-HDMI. Klawiatura jest podświetlana.
Taichi ma kamerę 5 Mpix z autofokusem. Urządzenie wyposażono także w mikrofon z funkcją redukcji zakłóceń. Bateria o pojemności 3200 mAh według producenta wystarcza na 5 godzin pracy (przy przeglądaniu stron WWW z włączonym Wi-Fi).
