Producent wprowadzi na rynek dwupasmowy router RT-AC52U, działający w standardzie AC, oferowany wraz z adapterem USB. Prędkość transferu danych sięga 733 Mbit/s.
RT-AC52U może jednocześnie pracować w pasmach 2,4 GHz (przesyła i odbiera dane z maksymalną prędkością 300 Mbit/s) oraz 5 GHz (433 Mbit/s), co daje łączną przepustowość rzędu 733 Mbit/s.
Dołączony adapter bezprzewodowy USB-AC50 umożliwia korzystanie z łączności w standardzie 802.11ac i pasma 5 GHz w komputerach. RT-AC52U ma wzmacniacze, które według zapewnień dostawcy zwiększają pokrycie sygnałem o 150 proc. w porównaniu z innymi routerami. RT-AC52U może pełnić funkcję serwera plików z możliwością przechowywania ich w chmurze, dzięki wbudowanemu portowi USB i technologii AiCloud. Port USB można również wykorzystać do utworzenia serwera drukarki albo podłączenia modemu 3G/4G. Urządzenie ma także jeden port WAN 10/100 Mbit/s i cztery LAN 10/100 Mbit/s.
