Asus na CES: tablety z czterema rdzeniami i ekranem full HD
Producent wprowadzi na rynek kolejnych modeli tabletów. Pojawią się także nowe wersje kolorystyczne ultrabooków.
Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 z 10-calowym ekranem Super IPS+ to według producenta pierwszy tablet wyposażony w czterordzeniowy procesor nVidia Tegra 3. Urządzenie ma aluminiową obudowę o grubości 8,3 mm. Z tyłu znajduje się 8-megapikselowa kamera.
Z kolei Eee Pad Transformer z serii 700 to 10-calowy model z ekranem full HD o rozdzielczości 1920×1200 pikseli. Podobnie jak w modelu TF201 zainstalowano system dźwiękowy SonicMaster. Tablet ma przednią kamerkę 2-megapikselową oraz tylną 8-megapikselową z przesłoną F/2.4. Wśród aplikacji jest SuperNote do robienia notatek.
Inny tablet – Eee Pad MeMO ME171 z modemem 3G – wyposażono w 7-calowy ekran o rozdzielczości 216 dpi. W zestawie jest telefon MeMIC, który łączy się z urządzeniem poprzez Bluetooth. MeMO dostępny jest również w wersji z Wi-Fi i procesorem nVidii (oznaczony jako ME270).
Wiosną na rynek trafią nowe wersje kolorystyczne Zenbooków, czyli ultrabooków Asusa – Złota Róża i Gorący Róż. Komputery mają procesory Intel Core i7, dyski SSD, USB 3.0 i Bluetooth 4.0.
