Arrow przejmuje Computerlinks
Arrow Electronics kupi Computerlinks - europejską firmę VAD, która ma oddział w Polsce.
Wartość transakcji wyniesie 230 mln euro. Centrala Computerlinksa mieści się w Monachium. W Polsce Computerlinks ma swoje biuro od lutego br. Oferuje rozwiązania i usługi obejmujące zabezpieczenia, sieci, pamięci masowe i wirtualizację.
Według Arrow Electronics w ub.r. Computerlinks wypracował rekordowe obroty w wysokości 943 mln euro. W tym roku wyniosą ok. 700 mln euro. Od czasu przejęcia przez fundusz Equistone w 2008 r. firma znacznie zwiększyła obroty i wartość (Equistone kupił ją za 104 mln euro).
Szef Arrow, Michael Long, stwierdził, że zakup Computerlinksa wspiera strategię firmy dostarczania „centrum przetwarzania danych przyszłości”. Transakcja ma zostać zamknięta w IV kw. br. Zgodę muszą wyrazić regulatorzy rynku w UE. Na polskim rynku jako VAD działa Arrow ECS, należący do korporacji Arrow Electronics.
