Infortrend zaoferował nową generację pamięci masowych. Rozszerzyły one ofertę Alstora. 16-dyskowe macierze EonStor są wyposażone w 2 zewnętrzne porty Fibre Channel 8 Gb/s. Modele FC – S16F-R/G1840 z redundantnym kontrolerem oraz S16F-G1840, dysponujące pojedynczym kontrolerem, należą do macierzy serii EonStor oznaczonej symbolem G6. Zostały wyposażone w układ ASIC 667, który ma zapewniać wzrost wydajności o 50 proc. w porównaniu z wcześniejszą jego wersją. 16-dyskowe macierze S16F-R/G1840 są skalowalne – stosując półki JBOD można je rozbudować do 112 dysków.
Nowe produkty mają przepustowość sięgającą 2800 MB/s podczas odczytu i 870 MB/s podczas zapisu. Zostały w nich zaimplementowane takie funkcje jak dysk spin-down czy dynamiczne mechanizmy chłodzenia i zasilania, które mają ograniczać zużycie energii.
