Dystrybutor utworzył nową grupę: "Consumptional Business" .
Grupa Consumptional obejmie ofertę usługową dystrybutora, przede wszystkim na platformie chmurowej. Chodzi o produkty związane z platformą jako usługą (PaaS), infrastrukturą jako usługą (IaaS), oprogramowaniem jako usługą (SaaS) i urządzeniami dostarczanymi jako usługa (DaaS). Asortyment ma być poszerzany. W ocenie szefa ALSO Holding zapotrzebowanie na tego rodzaju ofertę będzie coraz większe.
"Rośnie cała generacja decydentów, którzy chcą używać oprogramowania i sprzętu, ale nie chcą kupować tych produktów. Korzyści ekonomiczne i techniczne IT as a Service są oczywiste" – przekonuje Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO ALSO Holding.
Kierownictwo nowej grupy objął Michael Gerricks, który wcześniej był dyrektorem sprzedaży biznesu konsumpcyjnego. W ALSO jest od 2013 r.
