Allegro będzie wpływać na unijną strategię
Największy polski serwis e-commerce dołączył do European Tech Alliance - inicjatywy, która zamierza wpływać na politykę instytucji UE w sprawach unijnego rynku cyfrowego. W sojuszu są także 4 inne polskie firmy.
European Tech Alliance (EUTA) chce uczestniczyć w przygotowaniu powstającej obecnie unijnej strategii Jednolitego Rynku Cyfrowego. „Będziemy dzielić się pomysłami na cyfrowy rozwój Europy z przedstawicielami instytucji europejskich” – tak określił planowane działania EUTA jej przewodniczący Niklas Zennström, współzałożyciel Skype’a. Strategia Jednolitego Rynku Cyfrowego ma na celu zniesienie ograniczeń w rozwoju firm IT w krajach UE, pobudzanie ich wzrostu i zwiększanie potencjału inwestycyjnego. Według Zennströma najbliższe 12 – 18 miesięcy jest kluczowe dla prac na strategią, stąd zrzeszone firmy zamierzają w nich aktywnie uczestniczyć. Sojusz będzie przekonywał do swoich pomysłów Komisję Europejską.
Obecnie European Tech Alliance ma 26 członków. Wśród jest 5 polskich spółek. Obok grupy Allegro są to: Audioteka.pl, Brand24, Prowly oraz Transenter.pl.
