Actidata i Symantec podpisali umowę partnerską
Zgodnie z porozumieniem produkty actidaty będą standardowo wyposażane w oprogramowanie marki Symantec.
Umowa obejmuje urządzenia actidaty z serii actiLib (biblioteki taśmowe), actiTape (napędy taśmowe) i actiDisk (napędy RDX). Będą one oferowane z oprogramowaniem do ochrony i odzyskiwania danych Symantec Backup Exec Quickstart Server Edition. Aplikacja dostarczana ze sprzętem actidaty ma licencję na jeden serwer. Użytkownik może zaktualizować oprogramowanie albo wykupić dodatkową licencję u producenta i jego partnerów. Actidata zaoferuje swoje urządzenia wraz z kluczem-loginem aplikacji, dzięki temu użytkownik uzyska dostęp do najnowszych wersji oprogramowania. Wsparcie użytkownikom Backup Exec Quickstart Server Edition zapewnia Symantec.
Actidata poinformowała również, że w ramach umowy partnerskiej urządzenia actiNAS Cube RDX będą dostarczane z oprogramowaniem Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery Desktop Edition.
